Der Comic-Boom der 60er Jahre führt dazu, dass Stan Lee die Figur des Spider-Man entwickelt. Der normale Junge von nebenan, der von einer Spinne gebissen wird, begeistert Fans weltweit und wird schon bald zum absoluten Star von Marvel-Comics. Erste Fernsehserien werden entwickelt und Anfang der 2000er schafft es der krabbelnde Superheld das erste Mal auf die große Leinwand.
